Daventry's annual Fireworks Spectacular will return to Daventry for 2024!

- Gates open: 6pm with fireworks starting at 7.30pm
- Hot Food & Drinks: 6pm - 9pm
This spectacular FREE event is great for all ages and the fireworks will be set to a musical soundtrack spanning the decades, featuring golden oldies and the latest hits.
There'll be plenty of delicious food and drink to enjoy, including burgers, hot dogs and sweet treats from cakes to candy floss. You'll also find plenty of hot drink options to help you stay warm.
This family-friendly event is one of the most popular in the Daventry diary, so come along to enjoy a fantastic, free display as we light up the November skies.
Please note the school site rules are:
- No sparklers
- No firework
- No smoking
- No vaping
- No alcohol
- No dogs - apart from registered assistance dogs.

Parking
Parking: As there is no onsite parking so please be considerate of the local residents and use alternative FREE public car parks in Daventry and arrive at the site on foot. Please see the Map of Daventry Car Parks here for your nearest car park.
- Old Gasworks Car Park: Brook Street, Daventry, NN11 9HN

- Chaucer Way Car Park: Chaucer Way, Daventry, NN11 9DD
- 🚶♀️8 minute walk to event - this gets very busy early on
Disabled Parking Space
There are only limited disabled parking spaces available onsite. These are on a first come first served basis and by completing our online booking form - the form will go live on Monday 14th October at 10am.
DISABLED PARKING CONDITIONS:
If you have pre-booked a space you must agree to the following conditions when you arrive on site from 6pm on the day:
- Upon arrival vehicles must check in with the Door Supervisor to the entrance to the Academy on Ashby Road.
- You must present your Blue Badge and they will tick you off their list.
- Blue Badges must be clearly displayed in your windscreen when parking.
- Vehicles parked in our disabled area will NOT be permitted to move their vehicles once in the car park until AFTER members of the public have left the site on foot. This is for public safety and due to the cross-over of the road and pedestrian exits.
- The Door Supervisor will signal to you when it is safe to exit. We thank you for your patience whilst waiting.
- You must drive slowly and carefully when exiting the site.

Daventry Fireworks 2023
The skies over Daventry were alight with colour at Daventry Town Council's annual Fireworks Spectacular Display held on Saturday, 04 November 2023. Starting at 7.30pm, the display was orchestrated and choreographed by local award-winning fireworks company MLE Pyrotechnics.
This year's production was set to an eclectic soundtrack of nostalgic and classic songs mixed with remixes and current tunes. The fireworks event was hailed a success by visitors, who quickly uploaded and shared their pictures on social media.
Joining us on the night were an array of food and drink vendors serving a wide range of yummy hot food and drinks, plus autumnal sweet and savoury treats, including German sausages, noodles, hog roast, burgers, hot doughnuts, candy floss, retro sweets, and cakes plus various tea and coffee options. The retailers reported a successful night of trading and were pleased to welcome new and returning customers.
Cllr. Ted Nicholl, Mayor of Daventry, was in attendance and said:
"Daventry's Fireworks Display has become incredibly popular over the years, drawing high numbers of visitors from near and far, and this year was no exception! It was great to welcome so many people and light up the Daventry skies! We were delighted to be able to host such a large event free of charge, and thank you to The Parker E-ACT Academy for letting us use their facilities to make it all possible to deliver a fantastic show of pyrotechnics and entertainment.
There is a lot involved in the organisation and logistics of this event, so thank you to Daventry Town Council staff who helped make everything happen and ensure everyone was kept safe."

The skies over Daventry were alight with colour on Saturday (05 November 2022) night with Daventry Town Council's annual Fireworks Spectacular Display.
Starting at 7.30pm, the display was orchestrated and choreographed by local award-winning fireworks company, MLE Pyrotechnics. This year's display was set to a soundtrack of nostalgic 80's music songs, opening with the Stranger Things remix of the Kate Bush classic on 'Running Up That Hill' and closing with the Guns & Roses tune; 'Paradise City' as featured in the latest Marvel Film. The popular fireworks event was hailed a success by visitors who were quick to flood onto social media to praise the show and share their pictures soon afterwards.
Also joining us on the night were a variety of food and drink vendors serving a wide range of yummy hot savoury food and drinks, plus autumnal sweet treats including hot doughnuts, candy floss, retro sweets, and cakes. The retailers reported a successful night of trading and were pleased to welcome new and returning customers.
Cllr. Malcolm Ogle, Mayor of Daventry was in attendance and said: It's great for Daventry's Fireworks display to return with a bang - lots of them! The display is a chance for local families to enjoy high quality outdoor entertainment for free and it's great to see so many smiles on visitor's faces as they take in the impressive fireworks. The event is one I've attended for several years with my family and it's brilliant it is still as popular as ever."

Daventry Fireworks Display 2021
On Saturday 6th November 2021, Daventry Town Council held its tenth annual Fireworks Display at Parker E-Act School where over 6500 thousand people attended.
Starting at 7.30pm, the display was orchestrated and choreographed by local award-winning fireworks company, MLE Pyrotechnics. Opening with Coldplay's 'A Sky Full of Stars' and finishing with 'The Pretender' by the Foo Fighters, the feedback from the crowd was that it was one of the best fireworks display to date.
Daventry Town Council was thrilled to be able to host the fireworks spectacular event once again after cancelling 2020's scheduled display due to Covid restrictions.
Also joining us on the night were a variety of food and drink vendors serving a wide range of yummy hot savoury food and drinks, plus autumnal sweet treats including toffee apples, candy floss, retro sweets, cakes, doughnuts and more. The retailers reported a successful night of trading and were pleased to welcome new and returning customers once again.

Daventry Fireworks Display 2019
On Saturday 2nd November 2019, Daventry Town Council held its ninth annual Fireworks Display at Parker E-Act School where thousands people attended.
Gates opened at 6pm where there was a wide range of food and drinks stalls waiting to feed the masses. Starting at 7.30pm, the display was orchestrated and choreographed by local fireworks company, MLE Pyrotechnics. There was superhero theme this year with tunes from Superman, Star wars and The Avengers, along with a mix of sounds across the decades including Queen, Robbie Williams, Bruno Mars, LMFAO and Sam Fields. The feedback from the crowd was that it was one of the best fireworks display to date.
The event was a huge success and we are thrilled that so many individuals and families could enjoy this wonderful event put on by Daventry Town Council.
