NEWS: Traveller encampment on Country Park

Daventry Town Council is aware of the recent encampment of travellers on the Country Park.

The relevant authorities and the landowner have been informed and the lawful procedures have been put in place.

Daventry Town Council has no power or jurisdiction to expedite the removal of the travellers from the site but are currently working with other stakeholders to resolve this recurring issue.

DTC appreciates that residents are frustrated with the recurrence of travellers' encampments in the town and asks for your patience and understanding to enable the relevant authorities to resolve this matter as swiftly as possible.
