Spectacular Fireworks for Daventry Town

On Saturday 3rd November 2018, Daventry Town Council held its eighth annual Fireworks Display at The Parker E-ACT Academy where over five thousand people attended.

Starting at 7.30pm, the display was orchestrated and choreographed by local fireworks company, MLE Pyrotechnics. Opening with Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' and finishing with 'The Greatest Show' from The Greatest Showman, the feedback from the crowd was that it was one of the best fireworks display to date.

Cllr Lynn Jones, Mayor of Daventry, said, "The event was a fantastic success and we are thrilled that so many individuals and families could enjoy a wonderful event. A huge thank you to all of our partners who helped make the event entertaining and safe."

Sound and lighting were provided by Juice Sound and Lighting; stewarding provided by Northamptonshire based company New Age Training and Recruitment; CCTV provided by local Daventry company Crimesecure Ltd; medical aid was provided by Enhanced Medical Care.

John Nicholson, Regional Facilities Manager for Parker said, "We are so proud that we can host such a well-attended event, and that Mat Lawrence, Director of MLE Pyrotechnics was a former pupil here.

With thousands of people coming through the doors, the Town Council really do a wonderful job of making sure that everyone has a fantastic evening in a safe environment. We are looking forward to next year's already."
