Royally Brilliant Fun Craft Crown Making

Royally Brilliant Fun Craft Crown Making

In honour of HRH Queen Elizabeth II official birthday celebrations on Saturday 11th June, Daventry Town Council hosted a free Crafty Crown Making Workshop for children of all ages to attend.

The crown making workshop coincided with the Daventry Motorcycle Festival taking place in the heart of Daventry centre, and whilst in town enjoying the festival, many families also dropped by to see us and participate in the paper crown craft session to keep the family fun going.

The free drop-in workshop, hosted at Daventry Museum seemed to be a hit with visitors of all ages, who thoroughly enjoyed making and decorating their crowns with stickers and sparkles a plenty!

Alongside the craft making participants could also take part in a Trail and Quiz around the museum, whilst also taking in their current Queen's Platinum Jubilee Display.

The craft event was organised and funded for by Daventry Museum and Daventry Town Council.
