Open Invite to Daventry Teen Clinic Launch Event

The Teen Clinic Daventry is about to open and in celebration, Daventry Town Council and partners are proud to invite residents to its launch event, taking place during the October half term.

The free drop-in event will run from 12pm - 6pm on Wednesday 26th October at the Arc Cinema, (Mulberry Place, Daventry NN11 4GU) and promises to be a fun afternoon to mark the upcoming opening of the teen-patients only clinic.

The drop-in clinic will offer free confidential advice for 11 to 18 year olds, on physical and mental healthcare, wellbeing, sexual healthcare and more. It is a chance for teenagers to speak with a Healthcare Professional in a safe space without needing an appointment or visiting their surgery.

The launch event aims to promote the clinic's services to Daventry teenagers so they can find out more, ask questions, meet the team, plus learn more from the various information stands in attendance.

As well as being informative, the event will play host to lots of fun games, competitions, and challenges for visitors to enjoy including:

• Batak Challenge: Test your reactions endurance & stamina
• Get Competitive: Play Giant Operation, Buzz Wire and Arcade Games

Additionally, the first 100 teen visitors will receive a free goody bag.

The first Teen Clinic will be held from 3.30pm - 6.30pm on Monday 7th November 2022 at Daventry Mind, (Brook Street, Old Gas Works Car Park, NN11 4GG), a two-minute walk from Daventry High Street.

Initially the clinics will be held on a monthly basis and dates will be listed on the Teen Clinic Website.

The Teen Clinic Daventry is a collaboration of partners including: Daventry Primary Care Network, NHFT,
School Nurse team, Healthy Young Daventry, Service 6, The Parker E-Act Academy and DSLV E-Act Academy. Supported by Daventry Town Council, Daventry Mind, Northamptonshire's Children's Trust, West Northants Council, Viridian Nutrition, Sheaf Street Health Store, Arc Cinema, eAutomotive and Discover Daventry.
