Keep the Kids Busy for Less with Free Summer Activity Days from Daventry Town Council

Daventry Town Council is organising a series of free Summer Activity Days to help local families save money and have fun during the school holidays. Hosted at New Street Park and Daventry Museum, activities will start in the last week of July and run throughout August, with a programme including football coaching, forest school sessions, crafting and more.

This is the third year Daventry Town Council has organised Summer Activity Days, which have previously been a great success with local children and their families. To ensure all children can join the fun, activities are free of charge, with Town Council Members recognising that the school holidays can be an expensive time for families.

Mayor of Daventry Cllr Karen Tweedale said: "Daventry Town Council is once again offering a great range of free summer activities to support families in the school break. We have some fantastic options for children of all ages, ensuring they have a fun and affordable way to keep busy during their summer holidays."

There are activities to suit a variety of ages, all run as drop-in sessions with no need to book in advance. Sessions will be run by the Town Council team in partnership with experienced practitioners. This year's free Summer Activity Days are:
