Planning
Daventry Town Council are a statutory consultee, which means that the council receives details of planning applications for Daventry and submits its views (taking into account the views of local residents) to the Local Planning Authority who are responsible for making the decisions for planning applications. When submitting its representations to planning applications the Council takes into account material planning considerations which include local and national planning policies, please look at the planning policy page for more information. The Local Planning Authority primarily look to the parish council to provide local insight but may not follow our view.
The public should send comments to the Planning Authority Council within any deadline period. You can voice your concerns to them on any planning matter. If you are unsure about how to comment on applications or the type of comments that you can make, please look at the how to comment on planning applications page for more information.
Members of the public are welcome to attend Daventry Town Council's Planning and Development Committee Meeting to speak on planning applications that it is due to consider.
