Public Works Loan Board Application
At the special meeting of Daventry Town Council held on Monday 2nd March 2020, it was resolved to seek approval from the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government to apply for a PWLD Loan of £350,000 over the borrowing term of 20 years for the remedial work, legal fees and purchase of 3 New Street, Daventry.
It is not intended to increase the council tax precept for the purpose of the loan repayments.

A solicitor has been appointed to complete the purchase and approval has been received from the Secretary of State to borrow an amount not exceeding £350,000 to facilitate the purchase of 3 New Street.

The application for a loan from the Public Works Loan Board was submitted and accepted, with the funds being received in May 2020.
